Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and contracts Manage and update case files and databases Schedule appointments and maintain calendars Communicate with clients and other parties involved in legal matters Perform other administrative tasks as assigned Pursuing a Degree:
Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field.
Legal Knowledge:
Basic understanding of legal terminology, concepts, and procedures.
Familiarity with foundational areas of law such as contracts, torts, or legal research methods.
Research and Writing Skills:
Ability to conduct basic legal research using online databases and resources.
Proficiency in drafting clear and concise written communications, such as emails, memos, and simple legal documents.
Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, attorneys, and clients.
Clear and professional phone etiquette.
Organizational Skills:
Demonstrated ability to manage and organize documents, files, and legal information in a systematic manner.
