Due to our continued success, we are seeking results-driven and customer service-oriented Collections Account Representatives to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role receiving or making outbound calls to negotiate settlements or secure payment arrangements with customers who are between 3 6 months past due on their credit card accounts, with the purpose of bringing their accounts current. From manually dialing and skip tracing, to working with an automated dialer, your main focus will be to meet or exceed established goals to include balances saved, pay-by-phones collected and call quality.

Job Summary

The Payment Solutions Associate will receive and/or make outbound calls to negotiate settlements or secure payment arrangements with customers who are past due on their credit card accounts, with the purpose of bringing their accounts current.

Essential Job Functions

  • Make outbound or receive customer calls to negotiate settlements or secure payment arrangements. Provide quality customer service to secure payment arrangements for customers who are between 3-6 months past due on their credit card accounts.
  • Manually dials, skip traces or utilizes automated dialer to communicate with customers and make payment arrangements to meet or exceed established goals to include balances saved, pay-by-phones collected and call quality.
  • Uses computer to enter payment arrangements into care systems.
  • Utilize time-management and organizational skills necessary to effectively handle multiple expectations and thrive in a performance-based call center environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
Desired Skills:
  • Excellent computer abilities to navigate our care systems, as well as the Windows environment
  • Ability to negotiate payment
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Basic data-entry and typing skills
  • Ability to maintain outstanding attendance at all times
  • Schedule flexibility to work 40 hours per week including days, evenings and weekends
  • Willingness to submit to and pass E-Verify and background check
  • Ability to feel comfortable sitting for most of an 8 hour shift
  • Previous collections, call center or sales experience
  • Stable work history
  • Basic mathematical skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
