Sales Director - Hospital - Remote

We are seeking a talented individual for a Sales Director who is responsible for driving increased revenue for designated area/region/product through the pursuit of new clients or contracts. Responsible for RFP responses.
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Manages and oversees the activity of the Sales Managers assigned to sell HMS Products and Services to the Hospital and Provider marketplace. Assigns territories, sets goals, develops quotas, motivates and monitors progress.
+ Tracks and reports on the performance of the Sales Managers. Will handle all aspects of performance management.
+ Develops and manages the sales plan for the Coverage on Demand product sales to Hospitals and Providers. This includes any new products created by HMS for sale to the Hospital and Provider market place.
+ Develop new relationships with key target clients in this new market for HMS. Makes and develops contacts with existing and potential customers. Represents HMS when meeting with buyers including C-level buyers.
+ Coordinates initial implementation and kickoff for all new sales prior to account management assignment.
+ Analyzes existing and anticipated customer requirements and promotes consideration of products and services to meet such requirements.
+ Conducts sales presentations
+ Determines which proposals and RFPs to pursue.
+ Manages the RFP process ensuring the RFP is complete and accurate includes setting the price, getting the appropriate SME responses, and approving the final RFP product.
+ Participates in trade show and conference opportunities in order to increase HMS?s visibility and generate new contract leads. Will conduct brand awareness outreach and presentations to Hospital Associations and other key industry associations.
+ Keeps informed of new products and other information of interest to customers.
+ Participates in the development of sales forecasts and strategies.
+ Represents the sales team with executive leaders and conducts presentations on sales results.
+ Assist in the development of Board Reports and other Executive Leadership Dashboards.
+ Maintains data in Salesforce.

Minimum Education:
+ The knowledge typically acquired during the course of attaining a Bachelor?s degree is required. A combination of education and experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
Minimum Related Work Experience:
+ 8 years industry experience, 3 years sales experience
