Clinical Nurse Educator- South Central

The Clinical Nurse Educator is a key member of the commercial field team at Immunomedics. The Clinical Nurse Educator role provides product and disease state education and training to key healthcare providers within Oncology clinics and hospitals. The individual will work within a specified region to enhance disease knowledge, support the patient therapy selection process, coordinate and provide staff training, enhance proper administration, improve patient adherence and improve patient management. The individual will work in partnership with Immunomedics oncology sales team to help educate all health care providers, with a primary focus on nursing staff.
Train and educate office staff on proper use, handling and administration of Immunomedics products
Conduct total office call and/or in-service sessions to educate physicians, nurses and office staff on Immunomedics patient services and how to access them
Support therapy choice through therapeutic, product and reimbursement education
Reinforce treatment expectations established by the physician and review potential product benefits and side effects
Provide training on proper use of medication including re-constitution and administration of Immunomedics products
Present information on disease state and symptoms, therapy, and healthy lifestyle choices to support compliance and adherence at office in-services and ONS meetings
Conduct out of office education programs to educate nurses and other appropriate health care providers on Immunomedics products
Maintain communication and integrate activities, when appropriate, with Sales, Account
Management and other teams within Patient Support Services
Education required
Minimum Bachelor's Degree
Specific type of experience required
A minimum of 3 years nursing experience
Registered Nurse with a valid RN license in good standing
Nursing experience in the field of oncology
Previous pharmaceutical oncology nurse educator experience is strongly preferred
OCN or higher is a plus'
Must be available to travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight travel
Enjoy working autonomously and as part of a team
Capable of influencing decision makers by engaging in clinical and technical discussions
Desire and skills to work in an outside field based territory. Previous outside territory management experience is a strong plus
Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
Excellent teaching and presentation skills
Driver's license in good standing and clean driving record
Ability to successfully pass the required background investigation that includes, but is not limited to, education, criminal, employment, motor vehicle, driver's license, nurse license verification and drug screen
This position covers the following geography: Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
