Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Channel Sales Manager who has exceptional relationship skills to develop, maintain, and expand our channel partner program. Assigned to channel partners based on territory, the Channel Sales Manager is responsible for finding sales opportunities and assisting partners and sales team to drive revenue and partner recruitment objectives. You must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, interacting with partners from a wide range of organizations, have a strong SaaS background and be highly motivated to succeed. We are also looking for an individual who embraces our core values and wants to strengthen an amazing team. This position reports to the VP of Channel Sales.
Responsibilities:
Manage and grow existing relationships within the Serenova partner community, including SaaS, Master and Telecom Agents, VARs, IT Solution Providers, SI's, MSPs and Consultants
Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts and maintain high partner satisfaction ratings
Coordinate the involvement of company personnel in the sales process including direct sales, engineering, support, service, and management resources, to meet partner performance objectives, and to help win deals
Meet and exceed assigned opportunity and sales quota targets along with strategic objectives
Train partners on products, order process, support procedures, portals, commissions and pricing as well as provide ongoing communication of product, process or policy changes to assigned partners
Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
Proactively assess and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis with high attention to detail
Manage potential channel conflict by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and adherence to channel sales rules of engagement
Manage any issues when needed and communicate to various internal departments for immediate resolution
Participate in meetings and industry-related events as requested to further develop opportunities to secure new business and enhance the Serenova brand
Qualifiers:
5 years of channel sales experience in SaaS or Telecom industry
Proven track record working with partners and exceptional ability to establish relationships at any level
Entrepreneurial drive and a can-do attitude; creativity and tenacity in the face of challenges
Strong team player with excellent collaboration capabilities; must be able to develop strategies and action plans and share results
Strong presentation and facilitation skills; excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
Must be able to negotiate and/or influence others to gain support for the company's needs as they change
Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work proactively and independently at home office and mobile environment
Excellent business judgment, effective at articulating value propositions to partners and customers
Ability to travel as needed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
